Question 1

Why book direct instead of through Viator or TripAdvisor?

Accepted Answer

Booking platforms such as Viator and TripAdvisor add commissions on top of the price the guide charges. TourMate Mexico is the local operator, so booking direct removes that markup and you pay the operator price for the same guide and the same private vehicle.

Question 2

Can you pick us up at the airport?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We do airport pickups and transfers, and hotel pickup anywhere in Mexico City. For pickups outside the city, ask us on WhatsApp.

Question 3

Is hotel pickup included and can the itinerary be customized?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Hotel pickup and drop-off anywhere in Mexico City is included, and every tour is private, so the itinerary and pace can be customized for your group.

Question 4

How far in advance should I book?

Accepted Answer

Popular dates such as Día de Muertos, Christmas week and spring break usually sell out two to four weeks ahead, because we run a limited number of private tours per day. For regular dates, three to seven days is normally enough.
